Well no file systems are low on disk space and I don't have any quota's
set.  Get the error as root as well.

However... I did notice from your question that I get the error on the
file from an NFS mounted directory.  If I move the file to a local
disk, no error.  Move it back, error comes back...

Just when I think I am getting somewhere...
