RHEL 4 had a couple NFS bugs in earlier kernels.  I know 2.6.9-11 was
affected.  (Fun to watch your NFS exported data slowly turn into stale
NFS handles.)  These issues have been fixed, so make sure you are using
the current kernel.  With -22.0.2 I have had no problems with my NFS
server on my Beowulf.
