Delaying Fibre Channel cards during install

In the Release Notes for RHEL4, it is mentioned that certain kernel modules
for FC cards are delayed so that local disks are recognized first. My LSI
card (mptscsih) isn't listed among those modules (lpfc and qlcxxxx). Is
there any way I can ensure my 3ware module is loaded before the mpt modules,
causing my local disks to show up before my external storage? In addtion to
FC, I also have local SCSI controller which currently has no disks attached
to it, but it would be good to be able to be certain that the 3ware card is
loaded first so that kickstarts don't accidentally reformat something it's
not supposed to.
