Keyboard-less boot hangs: need to blacklist uhci-hcd

Hi,

My system (with a USB keyboard configured) hangs forever at boot time
when no keyboard is plugged in: in rc.sysinit at the "Initializing
hardware" phase, just after "audio" is printed.

I traced it and loading "uhci-hcd" causes the hang (when no keyboard is
present). Putting this in /etc/hotplug/blacklist solves the problem
(and the system also works fine when booting with a keyboard).

Is this all expected behavior and is my hack the recommended solution?

Thanks,
