usb blacklist?

I have a user with RHEL3 and he's trying to get a webcam working insided his
VMware Workstation.

Apparently the driver is not supported by RHEL, and it locks up his system.
I see that there is a blacklist under /etc somewhere.

How do I figure out what module rhel is trying to load, so I can blacklist
it?

Any suggestions?
