I would really appreciate if people would change the subject line
occasionally.

Interested as I am in One Laptop Per Child reading every message is very
time consuming.

I hope you will consider how other outsiders will be interested in only
specific aspects of the project and try to make it easier for them to get
involved where relevant by changing the subject line where appropriate.
