A clarification that might be important. OLPC itself will not be licensing Windows CE. This discussion is more about allowing windows to install/distributed the laptops with Windows CE running on them, or to enable third parties to do so.

OLPC is currently planning (and executing) on using linux on the devices that will be distributed to children.
