[olpc-software] SDK on other linux distributions (or OSes)

Hi all,

I'm thinking on installing the SDK for playing a little and see what 
has been done, but don't currently have a Fedora Core system.

Should I bother to try to put the SDK to work on Ubuntu, or it's better 
to install Fedora Core 4?
