There is a company that produces IT Security Workshops, IP3, and they
now have a scholarship program. OpenUmbrella, a NPO in the open source
space, works with IP3 to represent Open Source Security issues and
tools. These workshops are very educational and get great reviews. Now
that they offer scholarships to the events, it might be worthwhile to
apply to get a free seat to the event if one travels near you.
