I just gotta jump in here;
Often times using a duel boot setup time ago, using the "add hardware" wizard 
in M$ 98 would completely destroy my linux partitons. I sincerely hope that 
the destruction and agony M$ has caused through the years is never forgotten 
and is well documented.
