Re: [OS:N:] Open source in Education - with senior citizens

When I was first starting I really looked hard at K12LTSP.  However, I
don't have the funds/hardware to build a server.  Most of my computers
are average pc's, so putting on OS on them is ok.  However, if I just
installed linux on all of them, could the K12LTSP server me modified to
use startup scripts and the like to say, install software, reset the
desktop etc., when the installation is on the local harddrive, not the
server?  Should I join k12osn-list redhat com?  (i think that's the
list, I used to be on that too.)
