I object to the use of the term, "Uncle Tom Mandrake." Sure mandrake
isn't super highly regarded, still thought of as a knockoff of Redhat,
but it is quite good. I'm assuming you're referring to the slave book
Uncle Tom's cabin. If not please accept my apologies. I just think
that expressions like do nothing but remind us of our ugly past in
regards to racism. I'm sure you didn't mean to do that, but I feel it's
something we as a society need to continue to work for.
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to post this to the list or to you, so
I just posted to the list. I'm not saying you're racist or insenstive
by any means, it's one of those things that we don't even realize we
do. But we should. Thanks.
