True enough, although I think we can accept a priori that members of
this list are aware of Linux in general, and Red Hat in particular, by
virtue of their membership. 

The first goal of marketing -- awareness of the marque -- has already
been met here. That's really the knowledge tested by this survey.

But understand: I have no complaint with Red Hat's use of the list to
conduct a survey. My comments were intended only as a casual critique of
the survey.
