I agree. In fact, I'd _love_ to see an audit of M$ code (given how much of it 
has been borrowed from MIT/BSD licenced stuff I wonder if any GLPed code has 
wandered in ;-)

One issue with GPL *may* be that it was written very much with C style 
libraries in mind, so that issues may arise when using it with "modern" 
languages like Smalltalk.........
