    I'm still reviewing the older (v2) patch, but...why did you remove the LVM
storage pool/volume scanning?  As far as I know it is still needed, unless we
are using some other mechanism to achieve this now.
    I'll continue to review (slowly, over the break), and post review comments
once I have them.
