I’m trying to authenticate a linux work station to an active directory
server. The authentication process is working fine but when it comes to
mounting the users home directory (on the AD server) I don’t know what
to do. Is there any “official” way to solve this or am I supposed to
write an script that mounts the directory upon login? I’m doing this as
a part of my exam work at my university so I need to find out the way
it’s supposed to be. Any ideas are welcome…
I have a solution I use to mount smb homedirectories using automount. I
have found that home directories from windows servers are not much good
as home directories though.
You can have a look at my web page
