hi all,
first of all, not sure, whether this is the right place to ask ...
i am experiencing problems acquiring SCHED_FIFO scheduling as a user with
kernel 2.6.25
my /etc/security/limits.conf
contains:
# REALTIME support for audio group users
@audio - rtprio 95
@audio - nice -19
@audio hard memlock unlimited
@audio soft memlock unlimited
my user is member of the group 'audio'.
for older kernels (e.g. 2.6.24), acquiring realtime scheduling works
fine, however with 2.6.25 the pthread_setschedparam system call fails
with EPERM.
any idea what i might be doing wrong?
thanks, tim
