NPTL programming specs?

Phil People--

 

It seems that "http://people.redhat.com/drepper/nptl-design.pdf" is a good

document that explains goals, strategies, and design for the linux community;

but doesn't seem to specifically audience the application developer in its

presentation, right?

 

For example, is there something out there that brings together good coding

practices, gotchyas, bugs, and addresses porting/optimizations when

dealing with applications that have been programmed to linuxthreads? 

Also, are there any GDB/debugging differences? 

 

I don't know if this even needs to exist, but from trying to find more

information on NPTL it seems that all roads lead to that document

above, or search through discussion lists for small morsels of knowledge.
