I have a PC running both Windows and Linux. Everything is working
great but I have a problem with the defaul OS on the machine.
I want the machines to boot to Linux by default but no matter what I
do it nothing seems to work. I've tried using the "default"
variable and putting the vmlinuz image first. Here's my
lilo.conf:
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
default = linux
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=linux
root=/dev/hda2
read-only
other=/dev/hda1
label=dos
table=/dev/hda
Any ideas?
