Compaq Deskpro & Linux

A quick question:

I am currently running RH 4.2 on a Deskpro XL590. Due to the PCIBIOS issue,
the system boots first from a small DOS partition, uses the MOVEPCI utility
and then loads Linux. So my question is:

Will the new (5.0) install utility address this problem directly or should
I resort to performing a 'manual' upgrade i.e. of each rpm file?
