Wow. Well, you're pretty close then.
Mount the boot disk and check it out.
I don't have one in front of me, but I bet you can at least
either change the kernel in it, or copy the contents of it
to /tmp/bootdisk/ and chenge it there, then copy the whole
back to a new floppy. Something like that. Just don't forget
my personal pet peeve--run lilo! After making a new bootdisk,
or changing one, run lilo with the '-r' option to set the root
filesystem to /dev/fd0. Man lilo and confirm this, but don't
forget it.
