I have some trouble using the "Xconfigurator" that comes with the
"public distribution" of RedHat-5.0.
Everytime I start the program on my machine (with one of those
ELSA Winner2000proX/8 beasts installed), the whole video
synchronisation gets lost. Even console-switching does not solve
the problems.
As the board is supported by XFree86-3.3.1 (and I have an
configuration file which does allow me to use the card at
e.g. 1280x1024x24 100Hz ), I wonder where the problem
is with Xconfigurator and how they could be solved.
Any hints?
So long,
Juergen Zimmermann
