Hi everybody,
I need to run an application which shows up as a "80386 COFF executable"
In old days (under a.out Slackware) it was running with iBCS module.
Now I have RH 4.2 with kernel-2.0.30-3. I installed iBCS-2.0-6 RPM which comes
with RH 4.2 but the module fails with:
>modprobe iBCS
kill_fasync: wrong version or undefined
Loading failed! The module symbols (from linux-2.0.30) don't match your
linux-2.0.30
I tried another machine (2.0.32-1) with iBCS-2.0-6.1 but with similar effect
(even more unresolved symbols).
I've checked kernel configuration but there is no mention of iBCS/COFF.
I'd be grateful for any hints/pointers on how to properly install iBCS
module to run with my kernels.
regards, Michal.
