I am planning on adding drive space to linux. I already have four primary
partitions on my drive, so before I create another one, I was planning on
turning off the swap partition and deleting it, and then creating an
extended partition that would hold both the swap space and the 100 MB I
plan to peel off from dos.
I am having difficulty in running fdisk. I was trying to run it my
booting from the RedHat boot disk and running fdisk. But I get the
following error:
Unable to find /dev/hda
What is the proper way of running fdisk?
