Of course! All that *corruption* in the RPMS was magically fixed
when the mirror sites downloaded them from the same ftp.redhat.com
files you did! It's so obvious! Must be those new "active networks"...

Seriously, the problem in the scanning packages is a lot more likely
to have something to do with differences in versions of RPM &
corrupted databases (as has happened in a couple of cases.)
