Re: I killed my LILO floppy. Best way to make another?

get the install boot/supp disks, when it first boots up at the first menu
where you would hit enter to install a new system, instead type: rescue

this will boot up and allow you to mount filesystems, etc. You may have
to mknod your /dev/hda, /dev/hda1, /dev/hdb, etc... so you can mount your
root filesystem. Once mounted you should be able to get your kernel image
from your root filesystem onto a floopy to boot from. [or install lilo to
a floppy]

There may even be an easier way to do this, this is just how I've
recovered a system that wouldn't boot because of lilo problems before.
