install problem

Greetings, I tried to upgrade the kernel from 2.0.30 to 2.0.32..few
problems occurred on the way, OS was damaged..!
I tried to re-install and I got this message after I specified the ip
address..
Error, SIOCSFFLAGS: try again
what does that mean? is there a way out of it..!

In any way I am re-installing witrh RH5.0 a fresh install in a week
time..I just want to know what this message means.
