Red Hat 4.2 Install Question

I never was able to get it to recognize my CD drive (nor was I able
to get DOS to recognize the drive. Maybe the drive is bad? Who knows,
they aren't all that expensive anyway. So I'll get a new one and see
if that works. My question to the list is this:
"What CD drive is the *least* likely to have RedHat 4.2 compatibility
problems?"
(My reading of the HOWTO says it would probably be an ATAPI drive?)
I'm tired of screwing with the drive. I want to plop one in and have
it be recognized so I can get down to the business of screwing with
Linux itself. ;-)
Thanx,
Preston
