MetroX Screen Decay

Hi,

I've got MetroX on RedHat 5.0 running with a Matrox
Millenium 2 on two machines.  Configuration was fine 
and everything seems to work about as well as 
XFree86, but there is one really annoying bug.

On both machines, when the screen-blanker kicks in,
the screen decays into a bunch of horizontal rectangles
of black and white.  Refresh clears this up, but I was
wondering if anyone knew a fix.
