Re: Kernel panic.. Can't mount root fs



Did you compile in IDE support for your IDE controller?  (the
Intel-PX#^* #$*&#% is pretty common for Pentium boards, the CMD-640 for
high end earlier models. [Digital, etc]) I have never seen the
RZ^%&%#&@^.  What sort of IDE controller do you have?  What are the
system details?
