real audio/video

Hi all,

I have trouble with real audio player. I just installed RHL 5.0 and
this particular application doesnot work. It launches properly, connects
to the location requested, buffers the data and then blows with a 
segmentation  fault. I have a ESS1869 sound card and I recompiled the
kernel with OSS/Free 3.8s5 sound driver. 
By the way, all other sound applications work fine, xplaycd, cdplayer
playmidi etc. I can also cat to /dev/audio.
Does anyone else have this problem and/or have the same hardware as I
do?
