With all this talk about the Iomega Jaz drive, I'm wondering if
if anyone has worked with the Syquest SyJet 1.5 GB removable media
drive. I have found some very attrative pricing for the internal
model and the cost for the same number of cartridges and drive vs
a Jaz (6 gig vs 4 gig for 4 cartridges) has me interested. I know
software has been written for the Jaz drive (disk locking, etc),
what I'm curious if any effort has been advanced on the Syquest
or not. I already have a Toshiba 12x SCSI CDROM and Adaptec 2940
Ultra card for my future SCSI interests.
Anyone aware of any efforts on the Syquest. I was hoping a check
from the IRS would help me move forward on this effort.
Joe
