Re: what's the best chip for RH?



Man, OK Here's what ya do. 

Get a dual pentium II Board that is compatible with pentium pro. Preferably
a TYAN or ASUS. and Start out with a P Pro 150 which is cheap as hell right
now.(like less than $200) and is also bench marked at over TWICE the speed
as a Pentium (classic) MMX 200 under linux. (go to the benchmarks under
http://www.linuxnow.com if you don believe me) Then upgrade at your
convenience!!!!! 

note:the TYAN Tahoes have been tested successfully with the pentium II
300mhz with nothing but great results.... But I kinda favor ASUS just
because of the potential of a faster bus speed.

BTW the P Pro 200 are bench marked at almost 3 times the speed under Byte's
UNIX benchmark test than the Pentium MMX200mhz are!
