There's a Mitsumi driver in the kernel, other than that, I don't know.

Well, it's enough for a text-based, pretty basic installation if you're
careful. However, 416 megs (the two drives combined) should be enough for some
X stuff and room to breathe as well :)

I don't really know if the Connor needs to be master or not, but since the
Maxtor sounds like a newer drive (b/c of it's size), it might be better to use
it as the master. This is b/c, AFAIK, the IDE bus is set to whatever speed the
master can handle (PIO modes or DMA modes).

Yes, it will give you a chance to hop into fdisk to create partitions, etc.
It's fairly simple, but remember to reboot after you do it (I've had trouble
when I don't).

Yes, you can run w/ 16 colors at that res with the VGA16 server. Every
VGA-compatible card ought to support that :) Glanging at the list of cards in
Xconfigurator, it looks like the Diamond Speedstar 64 is supported.
