Install prob.

I have just downloaded RedHat 4.2 via ftp.

But when I tried to install it i first said that then coms file was not a
version 0 then when I have picked the packeges to install the system
reboots with an error saing got signal ?? and the says that I can press
ctrl-alt-del

It seems that the problem is the text file converting from unix to dos
format. 
Ia installing from a dos partition?

What files do I need and where should the be placed?
