  System Commander is a really useful program for booting many OS's.  
I don't think it's expensive and my friend has it.  It works a heck of a
lot better than LILO in my opinion.  And it doesn't time out(unless
set).  Ideally, you only need to install LILO to fix the prob.  Put it
on the 1st disk...the normal boot one.
