Installation Probs

I bought "The complete redhat linux operating system" by SAMS. I have a NEC
464 8x SCSI cdrom and a western digital 7193 Scsi controller. when i choose
the scsi controller, the closest is 7100, but it says cant find device. how
do i even get this installed?
