Hi,
I am trying to install RedHat 4.2 on a 486 with a Sony CDU31-A CD-Rom
drive and a Gravis Ultrasound.
When I tell the installation program that my CD is a Sony CDU31-A it asks
for parameters, and I write: cdu31a=0x360,0
(this parameters worked fine on Linux Slackware 3.0, so I suppose they must
be well)
I don't write anything on the "Miscellaneous commands" line. Should I?
Well, then the installation program says "I can't find the device", and I
can't install RedHat.
I know I could copy the CD to hard disk and then try to install from hard
disk, but my HD is only 240 Mbytes, so I suppose I don't have the space
needed to do that.
Could someone help me, please?
Thanks in advance,
Inaki
