So to the problem at hand - When I run the rc5cracker on my Linux box:

first attempt from Linux box, "no connect - generating random block". For
the first time I check if I can email out and after a small modification to
sendmail get two messages (from my Linux box, to the Winproxy, to my ISP
mailrelay, to my virtual email host, and all the way) back to the Winbox.
All this to hopefully ensure that at least my reports can reach the
"primary CPU" via email (is this how it works?)

second attempt, I set a "socks" option on my Winbox for proxy for port
2056. From Linux box, "no connect - generating random block".

third attempt, I completely shutdown WinProxy and setup and launch the
Win32proxy for rc5. From Linux box, "no connect - generating random block".

Fourth attempt, I also setup the Linux rc5 proxy and point it to the proxy
on the Winbox, which point to the virtual domain rc5.distributed.net (or
something similar). From Linux box, "no connect - generating random block".

Any assistance or hints appreciated!
