PPP question

I noticed that on my RedHat 4.0 system there are several sets of ppp/chat
scripts. It seems that the ones in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts are
used by default. I am interested in using the redialer functionality
available in /usr/doc/ppp-2.2.0f-2/scripts/redialer. Are the two
mutually exclusive or can they be used together. Please forgive me
if this is a stupid question. I would subscribe to the ppp list, but
I only want to get this system set up to dial a secondary phone number
when the primary comes back busy. After that I don't imagine I'll work
with PPP again until I upgrade and then only if the process has changed.
Thanks. Have a good day!
