As an ISP, let me just take this opportunity to trash the Winmodem. The
Sportster is acceptable and a Courier is very nice indeed (for the price,
it ought to be!), but the Winmodem is absolutely _the_ worst modem type
I've had to deal with. Drops connections, crappy speed, you name it.
Even the IBM MWave modem isn't as bad.
