I downloaded the RedHat 4.2 Base Directory and the RPMS directory from an
ftp site. I also downloaded boot.img, supp.img, and rawrite.exe. I made
the boot and supp disks and I rebooted my machine. The Welcome to RedHat
Linux screen comes up and says hit Enter to install or upgrade.
at boot: I hit enter and here is what happens:
Loading initrd.img......
Loading vmlinuz......
After this is scrolls to fast for me to hit pause and copy. Then:
pcibios_init: BIOS32 Service Directory entry at 0xffe90
bios32_service (1229148196): not present

After this nothing else happens. I have to reset the computer. I
currently have RedHat Linux 4.1 2.0.28 and Windows95 on my system. I have
a Pentium Overdrive 83MHz CPU. Do I have to type any boot time arguments?
This might not look exactly what happened because I had to write it down
on paper and re-type it here. I appreciate any help. Thanks,
-Tom Murphy
