RPMs required for install?

Hi,

I started installing RedHat 4.2 yesterday, but stopped when the installation
program started complaining about not being able to find some packages that
were, I guess, listed in the comps file, that I did not previously download
on my HD and placed in /RedHat/RPMS directory.
Before I even attempt downloading everything (I'm on a 33.6k line) could
somebody tell me which RPMs are necessary to just get RedHat installed (in
other words, I'd like to avoid downloading something that is not needed for
the installation process) ?

Is there a list somewhere?  I was not able to find it anywhere....I hope I
don't need ALL the files in RPMS directory just to do the install...do I?
