Error intalling via FTP, please help me

 I try to install RedHad-4.2 via FTP from (sunsite.unc.edu) but this
message
 appear...

      I cannot get file                  
     /pub/Linux/distributions/redhat/redhat-4.2/i386/RedHat/base/comps 
     Error setting remote server to passive mode

 Something similar happen with (ftp.kernel.org) and (ftp.ou.edu)...   :-(
 
 Please, someone how send me any commentary.
