386dx/40

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

i've taken on the task of installing redhat on a 386dx/40. i'm using
the same boot floppy i've used to install on a few different pentiums,
but when i boot this machine with it, it gets as far as "preparing to
install", then immediately says "rebooting the system" and does so.
one problem may be that it only has four megs of ram (i'm trying to
find four more). would this cause it? is there any information about
the system i could give that would be helpful in diagnosing the
problem?

thanks,
