Hello,
I am interested in running a small, Linux-based ISP. I will probably run
BSDI Internet Server on my primary machine and use Linux-based machines for
shell accounts and as web/news/irc/multicast servers. I am open to other
architecture designs. I would like to know if anyone out there has tried
this and has some useful tips or resources that may be useful to me. Are
there any issues with hardware, user volume, software, etc.? Has anyone had
problems getting Linux to run on a SPARC-a-like? I am open to discussion on
any issues regarding this. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in
advance.
Cordially,
August
