Mouse problems with X 3.3.1...

I've now got X 3.3.1 properly installed (Thanks to this user group)
and configured. However, I keep getting a message that my mouse's resources
are busy...
When I configured X I went with the default setting for the mouse. I don't
actually have a mouse, it's a pointing stick that uses the PS/2 Protocol. So
I don't know what comm port it's on but I do know that it's using IRQ 12. I
cannot shut it off in the bios and if I plug a seriel mouse into com 1 the
computer uses both ( at least under win 95).
xf86config says that the default setting for the mouse is tty0. What exactly
does this mean?
What should I change it to?
Any help is appreciated....
Chris.
