Which version of RedHat Linux are you using? I am currently running 4.2
and have no trouble with starting/running OpenWindows, using olvwm, or KDE.
Also, how much RAM do you have?
I start it with the simple command: openwin
With minor changes, for things that I don't use at home, my .openwin-init
and .olvwmrc files are the same as what I use at work. So is the .Xdefaults.
I don't seem to have any memory leaks, as I can have it up for days and
nothing appears to be going wrong.
