I have the same or a similar problem... I'm stuck at the point where the
installation process halts and claims it cannot find my CD.
The manuals for the sound card has some chapters dealing with setup, at one
place (in the Getting Started, Plug and Play manual) it says something about
using the ISA Configuration Utility which came with the PnP Configuration
Manager. The User's Guide has a Doing More with Your CD-ROM Drive section which
gives some pointers to the sbide.sys and mscdex.exe drivers nad running cdsetup
to make changes to the settings. I haven't been able to check this yet.
I have a list of files from the Creative ftp webpages to check for something of
relevant use.
I'll notify you if I find anything that will bring me/us a step in the right
direction.
