I have gone through the ISP_Hookup HOW-TO line by line. When I get
down to do the actual dialing where it says to issue the command:
exec pppd connect \
'chat -v -f /etc/ppp/chatscript' \
-detach crtscts modem defaultroute \
user dirk \
/dev/modem 38400
I am presented with a new login prompt - like my shell was killed and
I started another one.
Any idea where I screwed up or how to get connected to my ISP ?
Bob
